    A.D. 1952

    The Royal Decree established "Division of Agricultural Economics and Land Utilization" in the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. There were 2 sections; Land Utilization and Study and Statistics.

    A.D. 1954

    The Royal Decree made the amendment changing name from “Division of Agricultural Economics and Land Utilization” to "Division of Agricultural Economics". There were 3 sections; Production Economics, Agricultural Statistics Compilation, and Survey and Research.

    A.D. 1957

    The Royal Decree made the amendment to add 2 more sections; Project Control and Agricultural Product Analysis.

    A.D.1972

    The Announcement of the Revolutionary Council restructured the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives by separating "Project Control Section" from Division of Agricultural Economics to be "Planning Division" and also designated 19 Agricultural Economic Areas.

    A.D.1973

    The Cabinet Resolution ordered to establish "Center of Agricultural Statistics" in the Division of Agricultural Economics, to collect all categories of agricultural data.

    A.D. 1977

    The Order of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives allocated human resources in the Division of Agricultural Economics which composed of 4 sections:
    1. Coordinating of Agricultural Economics
    2. Agricultural Development Policy and Plan
    3. Agricultural Economic Research
    4. Center of Agricultural Statistics

    A.D. 1979

    Agricultural Economics Act promoted the Division of Agricultural Economics to be "The Office of Agricultural Economics" under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives composed of 6 divisions;

    1. Office of the Secretary
    2. Division of Agricultural Development Policy and Planning
    3. Division of Project and Programme Evaluation
    4. Division of Planning
    5. Division of Agricultural Economic Research
    6. Center of Agricultural Statistics

    The Cabinet Resolution designated 24 Agricultural Economics Areas.

    The Royal Decree restructured the Office of Agricultural Economics into 2 divisions and 3 bureaus;
