Ms Jariya Sutthichaiya, Secretary General of Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), together with the representatives from International Agricultural Economics Division attended the 45^th Committee on World Food Security (CFS) on 15-19 October 2018 at Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations (FAO) headquarter, Rome, Italy. This meeting aims to develop policies and actions on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN), and to enhance the progress of the Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals 2030 on eradicating hunger and all forms of poverty. On this occasion, the Secretary General had an opportunities to make an intervention on Agenda Item 8 “HLPE Report on Multistakeholder Partnerships to Finance and Improve Food Security and Nutrition in the Framework of the 2030 Agenda” in recognizing the importance of the cooperation between stakeholders to support FSN, sharing Thailand’s experiences on Public-Private Partnership for agriculture to reducing production costs and increase productivities by utilizing the advancement of private sector on management, innovation and technology including sustainable marketing for agriculture.
